Urban Outfitters - Bar Stool & Holographic Stamp

0

This polish was a complete surprise to me! I found it at Urban Outfitters and I'm pretty sure it is their house brand. It was great in 2 coats. I stamped it with China Glaze OMG using one of my Konad plates (don't have it with me to verify the number, sorry!). This plate was a bit of a pain and I found it easiest to do each side of my nail individually.

I suck, I suck, I suck!

0

I know I have been MIA for the last month - I've just been busy busy busy! I have still been painting and photographing each manicure though, so expect a slew of posts over the next few days!

This is a copy cat manicure - I 100% copied this from the lovely Erika of Chloe's Nails. She is one of my favorite bloggers and her pics are gorgeous! She posted this manicure and I fell in love!

This is China Glaze Purple Dragon, which is a neon finish (can be lumpy because of the glitter, needs a good thick topcoat) and a Funky Fingers crackle called Teal Scales. This is the first Funky Fingers crackle I tried and I am impressed! I found it easiest to do fairly thin coats.

Enjoy! And Check back over the next few days while I post catch up posts!

Nfu Oh 56

0

This is one of my very favorite manicures in a long time. This is two coats of Nfu Oh 56 over one coat of Wet N Wild black. It flashes so many shades - bright grass green, turquoise, teal, blue. So so gorgeous! I took so many pictures of this one. Click below to see more!

Nails Inc - Whitehall Magnetic Nail Polish

0

It's looking like 2011's Crackle nail trend is being replaced with 2012's Magnetic Polish trend, and that's A-OK with me!! However, so far they're proving to be a little difficult to find here. The only magnetics I currently have are the 3 from Nails Inc that I picked up at Sephora. The LCN magnetics are available at Trade Secrets but they're super pricy for such a small bottle. I can't wait for the China Glaze Magnetix collection coming out soon!

This is my favorite of the Nails Inc magnetics, the application was wonderful and I love the colour of this one. I always apply one coat normally then follow with a second coat and magnetize nail by nail.

Revlon Whimsical

0

First off, let me just express my love for Revlon. Their polishes are great quality, inexpensive (and forever on sale!) and I just love love love how they keep putting out dupes for high end polishes, especially Deborah Lippmann and Chanel!

Revlon Whimsical is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Glitter In The Air (I don't have the polish for comparison but I'm sure you will find side by side comparisons if you google it). It's a sheer blue-ish base with larger blue and pink/salmon hex glitters and smaller, square silver glitter. In the picture I am wearing it over Essie's Something Borrowed to bring out the blue base. I've seen some gorgeous pictures of it over white too@

This polish got tons of attention from muggles! I had a lot of cashiers and friends notice it! If you can get your hands on this baby, I recommend it!

Butter London - Branwen's Feather

0

Hello Lovelies :)
This is the first Butter London polish that I have tried. I've looked at their displays at Ulta whenever I get to one accross the border but didn't purchase until I found a display of them at The Bay! It's nice to see more and more brands coming to Canada! I bought two, I haven't worn the second one yet (Lady Muck) but I expect you will see it posted in the next couple of weeks! They retail for $17CAD which is a little pricey but I can see myself grabbing a few more yet!

The polish looks almost black on the nail, but it is actually purple, as you can see in the bottle shot. It wore fairly well besides for the shrinking caused by Seche Vite. The application was great, covered well in two coats. Overall I like the polish even though it's not really that exciting or unique.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I have more posts coming up this week!

OPI Designer... De Better!

Another Muppets polish (I think I've just about worn them all now)! Love this one, so bright and sparkly. It has copper glitter to it too which keeps it from just being a plain old silver foil. Love this polish!
