OPI Gal Meets Gal-veston

This is one of the jellies from OPI's Texas collection that came out last summer.  I just recently picked this up because I love the colour but I'm just not crazy about the jelly finish. 

Found this manicure a tad boring, so I added an accent nail of OPI's Rainbow Connection from the holiday Muppets line.

OPI Have You Seen My Limo?

This is an oldie OPI, and one that is much sought after. Quite honestly, I don't get the hype. It's pretty but not overly unique and not as duochrome as I was expecting. That being said, the application was great and I had no issues with the polish itself, I just don't think it's a polish I will be reaching for again any time in the near future.

OPI La Paz-itively Hot + OPI Teenage Dream

Hello lovelies! Hope you all are getting as beautiful of weather wherever you are as I am here! It's like 25ºC here, which is unheard of in the middle of March in Ottawa!

This manicure is one that I wore to the wedding of two dear friends. The Bride is the ultimate girly girl and loves all things pink so this manicure was a tribute to her!

Shown is 2 coats of La-Pazitively Hot and one of Teenage Dream. La Paz-itively Hot is a core OPI colour and is one of my favorite pinks. Teenage Dream was from the Katy Perry collection that came out last winter. This one should still be fairly easy to find online.

Application was great on both but I did find my Teenage Dream had thickened some and needed a few drops of thinner.

OPI Thanks A Windmillion

This is the only polish I picked up from OPI's Holland collection. There are a few others I may pick up in the future but this is the one that really called to me, I just love these vintage looking teals!

OPI Russian Navy & Essie Matte About You

This was one of my favorite manicures! And I know there is a matte version of this polish available and I would love to get it, but this was more accessible.
This was actually inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest - I am obsessed with that site! If you're on and would like to follow me, I am Ashley Malice on there. :)

Valentine's Day Mani

This is the manicure I wore for Valentine's Day! I think the pink is OPI You're Such a Kabuki Queen but I honestly can't remember. I stamped using an Avon Mirror Shine polish and Konad Special Polish in white. This was just before I took it off, so excuse the tipwear! I added a coat of Essie Matte About You over the thumb right before I took it off!

OPI Designer... De Better!

Another Muppets polish (I think I've just about worn them all now)! Love this one, so bright and sparkly. It has copper glitter to it too which keeps it from just being a plain old silver foil. Love this polish!

Finger Paints Asylum & OPI Road House Blues

Hello lovelies!
I have not forgotten you, but I have been house sitting and didn't have wireless to work from my laptop! But I still photographed each mani (and will post each in its own post).
Here is the first, which is Finger Paints Asylum, my favorite flakie from their new Effects collection (which is unfortunaly probably sold out in most places) over OPI Road House Blues from the fall collection. It's similar to OPI Sapphire In The Snow but definitely leans more blue while SiTS leans more purple.

I loved this mani so much I wore it for like 4-5 days until it was chipped like crazy!

Nicki Minaj for OPI

This was my manicure for much of this week - I just couldn't get enough of it! This is OPI Metallic 4 Life from the Nicki Minaj collection. I bought this and Save Me (which was my New Years Eve mani - I have pics of it somewhere). Really impressed with it!



Love this polish! Definitely a hit for OPI!

Slightly less Christmasy but it fits

So this isn't a super Christmas-y NOTD but it's my blog, dammit! Kidding! This one is the beautiful Original Holographic version of OPI's My Private Jet, SO amazing. Accent finger is Nicole by OPI Sprinkle of Twinkle (I always calls this polish Sprinkle of Tinkle... just me?) This is a quickie manicure that I wore for a Ozzy Osbourne concert :)

Nail Haul and a NOTD :)

I've been slacking lately, sorry for the lack of posts!
I received this haul of beauties the other day from a blog sale!

Left to right: China Glaze DV8, OPI DS Sapphire, OPI DS Signature, China Glaze How About A Tumble and Nubar Reclaim
Yep. More holos. Can't help it, they're just so gorgeous!
I used Reclaim right away and did a mani using it on my fingers and China Glaze's L8R G8R on my thumbs, stamping the frogs using a Coraline plate with the Reclaim polish. Love these colours!



I purchased these form a lovely lady named Annie from a sale on her blog. Check her out at Nailstah. She does daily posts of nail polish swatches and reviews!

LOVE this colour! Looks gorgeous with a clear topcoat too! It's just too bad that the Suede finishes don't last as long as normal polishes!
