• Valentine's Day Mani

This is the manicure I wore for Valentine's Day! I think the pink is OPI You're Such a Kabuki Queen but I honestly can't remember. I stamped using an Avon Mirror Shine polish and Konad Special Polish in white. This was just before I took it off, so excuse the tipwear! I added a coat of Essie Matte...
  • A-England Tristam

Another beauty from A-England. This is Tristam, from The Mysticals collection. I've only used two of my A-Englands so far but I can honestly say that the formula on these blow me away each time. This is two coats but with careful application it could easily be a one coater.  I...
  • Revlon Whimsical

First off, let me just express my love for Revlon. Their polishes are great quality, inexpensive (and forever on sale!) and I just love love love how they keep putting out dupes for high end polishes, especially Deborah Lippmann and Chanel! Revlon Whimsical is a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Glitter...
  • OPI Thanks A Windmillion

This is the only polish I picked up from OPI's Holland collection. There are a few others I may pick up in the future but this is the one that really called to me, I just love these vintage looking teals!

  • Ozotic 534

Hello lovelies! Today I have a really special polish for you! This is Ozotic 534, which is a gorgeous holographic and a duochrome! Did that just blow your mind? It reflects mostly blue/purple and the holographic effect is really strong. The only thing about the polish I didn't like was the price -...

Want to know a secret?

0

I haz the pee. The unicorn pee.
I ordered Zoya Pinta (peeeerfect base) and I am waiting for it to arrive before busting this beauty out. Hopefully this week!

I have just finished reading Kat Von D's The Tattoo Chronicles and I will write a review for it shortly too. Next read will be Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. I bought this last year and never got around to it but I want to read it before the movie comes out in April.

Not my current NOTD but here's some pictures of the lovely OPI Let Me Entertain You from the Burlesque collection :)

Black Swan Movie Review

1

I know this blog isn't typically movie reviews but I would like to expand the content of it and felt inspired to write about this after going to see this film. I went to see the Black Swan last night with the boyfriend after hearing so much about it. It was definitely a brilliant film and I really enjoyed it, even though certain parts made me very squeamish!

I want to be able to speak openly so I am going to go ahead and put a cut in now and warn you:

SPOILER ALERT!

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms: Rainbow Presents

2

This polish is just another example of why we call Sally Hansen a ho. She gives us these phenomenal nail polishes and then just takes them all away!
I recently got lucky and found about 25 nail prisms (not counting duplicates) at a Bargain Bin close to home in a tiny tiny town. Then I cheated - there were 5 packs of Sally Hansen polishes but only 2 per pack were nail prisms. Well, I opened 'em up in store and made myself 5 packs of nail prisms!

This shade is called Rainbow presents and I've been told it's very close to Garnet Lapis. From what I can find, this was a Canadian exclusive and it is beautiful!

This is 2 coats over Wet n` Wild Black Creme.

More pictures under the cut!

Christmas Mani Failblog

0

This is a fail because, well it's January 8th! Better late than never, here are the majority of the rest of my manicures, aside from the few I forgot to photograph.

Be sure to check out a bunch more pictures of more NOTDs under the break!

This is what I wore Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - cute and simple.
This is China Glaze Party Hearty over China Glaze Frosty
